Stupid Windows. I am trying to create a table cell in a table created with PHP and SQL. Somehow the macro tool only allows single cell to be created.

When I select a field, such as phone or email, and press the Insert button I get the message “Data successfully inserted into cell:”). The arrow next to the button points down and says “Next cell”. When I click “Next cell” nothing happens.

When I open up Notepad and select the cell, the “=Phone” part of the text does not appear and all the contents of the cell go blank. I have no idea why.

I have tried to copy the cell and use the macro tool on the new cell and the same thing happens. Again, the cell disappears and all the content inside it is erased.

Any ideas?

I tried the “Help” button at the top of the spreadsheet and the macro help page came up. It states that the “Macros dialog box does not display or accept input in this form.” It also states that it should not be a button, when it clearly is a button. The “Macros” tab of the properties for the spreadsheet has no options.

I have another problem. When I insert a row and insert a cell, the cell closes itself immediately. Any suggestions?

I have been using this for about 6 months and have never had a problem with the program. If you want to save a word document as an excel file then this is the program you want. Works better than any other program I have used.
