How should I store my products?

What are the products shelf life
All of our products have an expiry date printed on or a PAO (Period-After-Opening) symbol located on its respective carton which can be referenced for specific shelf lives after first use.

Are your products gluten free?
We do our best to source materials that are able to provide a certificate of being gluten free. However, for customers with gluten sensitivities we cannot guarantee that the raw materials and ingredients we use are 100% gluten free.

Are your products vegan?
Yes, all our products are vegan and we are certified with PETA, as part of its beauty without bunnies program.

Are your products safe for pregnancy?
All of our products are made with non-toxic, non-artificial, 100% natural ingredients. Every person and every pregnancy is different, so we recommend discussing products with your physician.

What do you use as preservatives?
We only use preservatives approved and declared safe for use in organic products by EcoCert, the International Organic Inspection and Certification body and they are mostly plant derived or ferments of bacteria.

Are your products organic?
While our products are 100% natural, we are not certified as organic. Not every natural ingredient can be certified organic, for example, fermentations, biotechnology, and other powerful natural ingredients. We only purchase ingredients from suppliers we trust to adhere with our ethical standards.

What do your certifications mean?
We are certified cruelty free and vegan by PETA, the largest animal rights organisation globally. This means that we do not believe in supporting the inhumane treatment of animals in cosmetic and personal care product testing and all our products are cruelty-free every step of the way.
PETA has verified that neither us nor our ingredient suppliers conduct, commission, or pay for any testing on animals for ingredients, formulations or finished products and our products are completely free of any animal extracts.

Where are LBB products manufactured?
All our products are formulated by expert natural skincare chemists and dermo-pharmacists in the UK, and while most of our products are also manufactured in the UK we occasionally have to go further afield to deliver on our SMART objectives. We specify our ingredient suppliers and only work with partners we trust to adhere with our ethical standards.

Is your packaging environmentally friendly?
We make a conscious decision to be environmentally responsible and majority of our packaging is either fully recyclable or biodegradable. We absolutely avoid excessive packaging that serves no practical function i.e. no shrink wrapping in plastic, we only use environmentally friendly decoration and much more. In the rare instances when practically we can’t yet be fully compliant to meet our SMART objectives, we continue to explore more sustainable alternatives.

Are the fragrances in your products natural?
Yes, all of our fragrances are 100% derived from nature.

Are your products safe for use on sensitive skin?
Our skincare products are rich in anti-inflammatory, calming and antioxidant ingredients that are great for soothing angry and sensitive skin. Infact, Take Off-Touch Down, our XL face and Body cleansing cloth is dermatologically tested to be safe for sensitive skin. However as every person is different, we recommend you patch test the products first as you should be doing before introducing any new skin care product.

WHAT MAKES A-GAME STAND OUT FROM OTHER PRODUCTS?
A-game is all natural, gentle, non-comedogenic, vegan and cruelty free. It is also simple yet versatile, combining multiple stages of your routine (serum, oil, moisturiser) into one powerful and multi-use product.

HOW CAN A-GAME BE USED?
A-game is the most versatile and multi-tasking balm ever! It can be used as a face moisturiser, intensive overnight hydration mask, lip balm, hand salve, elbow grease, cuticle oil, soothe and heal bruises/burns/cuts, tame unruly hair (brows and flyways), natural highlight and anything else you can think of!

CAN A CHUBBY STICK BALM REALLY BE LUXURY SKINCARE?
Yes! Our balm is buttery and luxuriously textured with science and experience behind its amazing formulation. The balm is not too heavy, oily or sticky and it simply melts into the skin because of its super lightweight base. It also has a light and pleasing aroma from 100% natural essential oils – something that our clients love about this product.

WHO SHOULD USE A-GAME?
A-game is suitable for all ages and skin types including sensitive skin.

A-GAME AND SENSITIVE SKIN?
Sensitivity is one of the biggest tell-tale signs of dehydrated skin. The vast majority of ingredients used in A-Game are skin balancing. Rose, Moringa and Marula oil for example, are perfect for calming and soothing stressed skin all while providing a moisture barrier to stop irritants like pollution and bacteria from penetrating your skin. We have had positive results from clients with Rosacea, Psoriasis and Eczema.
While we only ever use verified and small amounts of essential oils, we know that some clients are sensitive to fragrances. Read more about essential oils in A-Game here in FAQ’s.

A-GAME AND ACNE-PRONE SKIN?
This product is non-comedogenic, so will not clog your pores and cause acne. The base of our product is Moringa and Marula oil – they are both lightweight, anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial and will sooth acne prone skin.

A-GAME AND OILY SKIN?
Yes, Oily skin can also get dehydrated and oily skin types should not be afraid of facial oils making your skin even oilier. If you use the right oil products (i.e. are non-comedogenic) it will not clog or block pores, like in A-Game. It can actually help balance and eventually reduce how much sebum your skin is producing.

CAN I USE A-GAME IN THE SUMMER?
We get that it’s natural to want to skip the oils in the summer due to sweat and extra sebum production with the warmer weather, however using a face oil in the morning is actually a good strategy to reduce excess sebum production through the day.

HOW SHOULD A-GAME BE STORED?
A-game does have an oil base, so it should be stored in a cool place, away from direct sunlight to avoid it melting.

HOW DO I LAYER A-GAME?
A-game has an oil base, meaning it can easily penetrate water based products. So we suggest it goes on after those (i.e. toner, essence, acids, retinol etc.). SPF should always be the last step in your skincare routine, so that goes on after A-game.

HOW DO I FIT A-GAME INTO MY SKINCARE ROUTINE?
As part of a daily skincare regime, A-game should ideally go on a freshly cleansed face and can be used as your primary moisturiser, or it can be used as an extra overnight intensive moisture boost. It can also just be used throughout the day for your top-to-toe on-the-go moisture top-up – lips, hands, flyaways and all.

WHAT MAKES THE 4 SUPERFOOD OILS SPECIAL?
- Kahai (blurrer), a potent restorative and repair agent that helps to reduce fine lines, wrinkles, and works wonders at evening out skin tone, fading sun damage spots, hyper pigmentation and scarring. Thanks to a rich supply of skin renewing Vitamin A, natural retinol and protective Vitamin E.
- Chia (elasticity booster) has a hefty dose of superior omega 3 essential fatty acids which help maintain moisture levels and a healthy protective layer. An essential mix for youthful, plump skin.

A-GAME AND FRAGRANCE?
We only use clinical grade 100% natural essential oils to create fragrance in A-Game. If you are sensitive to fragrance, we list the potential essential oil allergens on our packaging and on our website. The allergens found in A-Game are Amyl Cinnamal, Citral, Limonene and Linalool.

Where is my order?
You will receive an email from us as soon as your order has shipped with your tracking number. Please follow the instructions provided to track your order.

How long does it take to receive my order?
It generally takes between 2-4 days to deliver your order, but with next-day delivery you can receive your order even faster

How do I return or exchange a product?
All returns must be made within 14 days of receipt of goods. Refunds can only be made to the card used to purchase products. Goods must be unused and in original packaging. All returned goods are subject to an assessment. Products which have been used, or compromised will not be accepted. Unfortunately, we do not process exchanges. More details can be found here

Do you offer free shipping?
We offer free shipping in the UK on all orders over £30 and free next day delivery service for orders over £75.

Can I modify or cancel my order?
We ship our orders out quickly, which means we have a limited window to make changes. Please reach out to us as soon as possible to see if we can make any updates. You can reach us via chat between 10am – 5pm or you can email us at info@lbbskin.com and we’ll respond within two business days.

What if an item is out of stock?
If an item is out of stock, there will be a notice on the website and the product will be unavailable for purchase.

What payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express). At this time we’re unable to accept Pay Pal, Apple Pay & Google.
We also offer LBB E-Gift cards, they start from £10 and can be used as part or full payment online. Our E-Gift cards will be refunded as first method of payment on all refunds where the order involved use of an e-gift card. They cannot be returned or exchanged for cash.

What do I do if my payment is declined?

Can I buy LBB as a gift and have it shipped as one?

Do you have gift boxes?
Yes, we currently only offer a gift box as an option with our Discovery Collection. Simply click the option to purchase a “Gift Box”, and their package will be delivered in a little black box. Be sure to enter the correct details of the recipient at the same time.

Do you offer an auto-renewal service?
Yes, we call it our Fast Track Service! It is the most convenient way to get your smart skin fix delivered to you on a regular schedule and it comes with savings.
How it works
We automatically send your favorite products based upon your chosen frequency. The service is easy to use and customizable, so you can make changes online through your account whenever you need. Simply tell us how often you want your chosen products, and we’ll take it from there. You will receive saving off all subscription purchases on all replenishment orders.
You always have complete control over your Fast Track orders and we send an email reminder 7 days before each order is shipped. You can change your delivery frequency, next order date, or quantity anytime within your account. Changes to orders can be made any time before the next scheduled shipment date and you can skip, pause or cancel at any time.

How do I join Fast Track?
Joining Fast Track is easy; it can be done while browsing on a product page. To get started, simply select the “Fast-Track” option for your desired product, select your preferred shipment frequency, and then check out as normal. Note: You will need to create an LBB account and

What will happen after I join Fast Track?
After you join Fast Track, you will receive an email confirming your subscription. This email will include a link to access the ‘Fast Track’ section in your account where you can manage your future orders, subscribed items, and account information.
We will place your Fast Track orders automatically according to your selected frequency, and you will only be billed on the day the order is shipped. We will send you an email reminder 7 days before each subscription order.
You will also receive email notifications regarding other important information related to your Fast Track account, such as if your item is discontinued or out of stock, if you cancel a subscription item, and confirmation when an order is placed successfully.

How do I make changes to my Fast Track order?
Once you’ve joined, Fast Track is easy to manage. To modify your Fast Track subscription, simply go to “My Account” in the top right corner of our website. Once you log in, click on “Fast Track subscriptions” under “account details.” Then click the “edit” button on the right to update, pause or cancel your Fast Track subscription. Please allow up to 24 hours for modifications or cancellations to be processed.

How do I pause or cancel my Fast Track subscription?
You can edit, pause or cancel at any time. Simply log into your account and click “Subscriptions.”

How do I combine items to be in the same order?
Fast Track items that you purchased together will ship together. Also if they are around the same [4] day window they will ship together. If you have multiple Fast Track subscriptions on different dates, look at your upcoming order in the My Fast Track section. Change other Fast Track subscriptions you want to ship with that order to the same date. Remember, confirm the orders are going to the same shipping address and payment method.
